Economist claims Help to Buy scheme is 'mistaken'
A former Monetary Policy Committee member has branded the UK's Help to Buy scheme "largely mistaken."
Adam Pozen, the current President of the Peterson Institute in Washington, said it was "pumping up credit" for the sake of upper and middle class people.
Speaking with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 live's Wake Up to Money, Mr Pozen claimed he would "much rather see" the government ease up planning rules to allow for more house building.
