Nigeria’s ‘horror’ over schoolgirl abductions
Almost 200 Nigerian schoolgirls remain missing after being abducted by gunmen in Borno State. The Nigerian government’s said it will do all it can to find them; there’s been strong criticism of the authorities for their perceived inaction. Adaobi Tricia Nwaubani is a Nigerian writer and journalist in Abuja; she describes the national mood in relation to this terrible story.
