How can you tell if a cow is sad?
Agricultural students at a college in Cornwall are taking classes in cow psychology so they can better understand their herds. Roger Clark, an agricultural course manager at Duchy College said "There is a big difference between a happy cow and an unhappy cow." He also said that if a cow is depressed then there can be consequences for farmers "The knock on effect is huge they not going to get any calves, they aren't going to produce milk and the quality of the milk won't be the high standard that we expect."
