Steve Kitchen presents - Changing the law
The work of a Gloucester widow who has been instrumental in changing the law.
The Prime minister has praised the work of the Gloucester widow who, two years after the death of her husband Paul Stock, has been instrumental in changing the law...
Drivers who kill someone on the roads when they've already been banned from driving will receive a much longer sentence in future.
The Government's increasing it from 2 years to 10 in England, Scotland and Wales.
A new offence of causing serious injury whilst disqualified is also being introduced, which will carry a sentence of four years.
After this sentencing in 2013, Mandy Stock, along with her local MP launched a petition to change the law - to impose longer sentences.
