Restaurant offers diners studio to take food photos
The trend for diners snapping pictures of their food has become so common some French chefs say customers are more interested in posting pictures online than putting food in their mouths. But El Burro, a Mexican restaurant in Cape Town in South Africa, has a different attitude: it's providing diners with a small, portable lighting studio so they can take the best possible shot. Chef Loic Malfait is academic director of culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu cookery school London, and first Nic Haarhoff who owns El Burro.
