GP says job expectations mean he doesn't see his son
Dr. Ravi Ramanathan, a GP, shares his audio diary with Shelagh. He reflects on the increasing time pressures of the job and how he's too busy to see his five year old son.
Dr Fiona Cornish - president of the Medical Women's Federation - has said General Practitioners are too 'burnt out' to cope with a five day week and rising numbers of GPs are quitting over long hours and mounds of paperwork.
