    PM listeners' sounds: Whale song
PM Listener Conor Ryan from Marine Conservation Research International sent this sound of seven pilot whales. They were recorded 75 miles west of the Isle of Lewis by research scientists on board R/V Song of the Whale. Conor explains: "These captivating sounds, recorded with a hydrophone, are of pilot whale whistles (used to communicate) and clicks (used to echolocate and to find prey such as squid)."
