Turkish PM must 'resign' over mining disaster
A prominent member of the main opposition party in Turkey has told 5 live that the Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan should resign over the country's worst ever mining disaster. Last month, the opposition proposed a parliamentary inquiry into the Soma region mines, but this was rejected by the Prime Minister's party. Now opposition MP, Onur Oymen, a former Turkish ambassador to NATO says the Prime Minister should take responsibility and resign.
