In an opportunity to get tactile with their treasures, Imperial War Museum North in Manchester dispenses with the glass cabinets for special object handling sessions.
Martha Kearney joins Jenny Mutch to study a set of museum artefacts from World War One. They relate to a soldier called Thomas Witts, who was so keen to fight on the Western Front that he committed forgery.
