Geoffrey Boycott on the collision of cricket and pop when he met Katy Perry backstage at her recent concert in Manchester.

"She was everything I expected. She's a superstar," he told Phil Tufnell and Jonathan Agnew on Test Match Special.

Boycott revealed Katy Perry was his favourite singer on Test Match Special, prompting Radio 1's Greg James to get the singer to record a special message for the former England captain during the summer 2013 Ashes.
