The victim of a romance scam says he 拢26,000 to a woman who he met on the internet who told him she loved him.

He said "like a fool" he repeatedly sent her money for plane tickets and bills that she claimed she had.

New figures from Fraud Action show over the last year 拢18m has been stolen from British victims by online scammers.
