Imam Khalid Latif is a Muslim chaplain, a spiritual guide in New York City. In 2007, at the age of 24, he became the youngest chaplain in the history of the New York Police Department. He is also executive director of the dynamic Islamic Center at New York University.

This programme features a 鈥渄ay in the life鈥� of the young faith leader in the metropolis. Khalid travels through the city to meet with Muslim students, Muslim leaders and Muslim police officers, assessing the progress of the Muslim Community in New York since 2001.

We hear about Khalid鈥檚 ultimate goal of building a New York where young American Muslims can express their unique identity and assert their voices in broader society.
