Burundi opposition: ‘We need justice and freedom’
A group of Burundian opposition supporters are three months into long jail sentences for participating in an illegal demonstration that turned violent. The Movement for Solidarity and Democracy supporters denied participating in the march, and instead said they were out jogging when a police crackdown began. The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s Tim Franks, who’s in Burundi for a special series of reports, spoke to the husband of one of those jailed. Later, you’ll hear from MSD leader Alexis Sinduhije who fled abroad after the clashes.
