Game of Thrones winner hopes to die in 'cool sword fight'
A Facebook employee has won the right to appear and die in a sequel to Game of Thrones.
Speaking to World Cup Breakfast about winning the auction to appear in the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series by donating $20,000, Dave Goldblatt explained "I happened to have the money saved up and I decided to pull the trigger".
Goldblatt from San Francisco said "I want to die in a really cool sword fight and use Valayrian steel and something awesome happens to me, how I'll probably die is something really embarassing like go to the bathroom or something".
The series has inspired the worldwide hit TV series 'Game of Thrones' but it's unknown if Goldblatt's character will make it to the small screen.
A release date for any future books by George RR Martin is yet to be announced.
