Chris Kamara: How I caught thief in Brazil
Football pundit and former Leeds United footballer Chris Kamara has chased and caught a man who robbed his brother-in-law while they were walking down a street in Brazil.
But after he handed the suspected thief over to the authorities, he says he was told off by police, because the guidance given to tourists is not to chase attackers.
Chris Kamara says he acted on instinct, but, because of the risk that the suspected thief could be armed, he now thinks that he "shouldn't have chased him".
He told 5 live's George Riley what happened.
