UN worker: 'The sound of firing has increased in Gaza'
A relief worker in Gaza says the sound of firing has increased in the area, despite a temporary lull in fighting.
The United Nations Security Council called on 27th July for an "immediate and unconditional humanitarian ceasefire" to coincide with the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr.
Robert Turner, Director of the UN's Relief and Works Agency operation in Gaza, said people in the area "desperately" wanted the violence to end.
