Boscastle flooding: 10 years on
Events are to be be held in the Cornish village of Boscastle this weekend to mark the 10th anniversary of the severe flooding which saw 100 people airlifted to safety.
More than 100 cars were also swept away as a freak rainstorm sent a torrent of water through the village, sparking what was one of the largest rescue operations in UK history.
Hotel owner Peter Templar was one of those winched to safety.
