Pro-gun children's book
Law enforcement officials in Arizona said no criminal charges are pending following an incident on a gun range in which a nine year old girl fatally shot her instructor with an Uzi submachine gun.They say it's being viewed as "an industrial accident".Arizona has long had a strong pro-gun culture,including weapons ranges that promote events for children and families.Children as young as ten are allowed to hunt big game such as elk and deer in Arizona,provided they have completed a hunter safety course.But the latest shooting incident has touched off a debate about the wisdom of giving children access to high powered fire-arms.I've been speaking to Brian Jeffs, from Michigan.He's the author of "My Parents Open Carry"; a pro-gun children's book.
