The Singh Project: The beard and the turban
Sikhism is the world's fifth-largest religion, with roughly 25 million adherents dispersed throughout the globe. Sikhs are instantly recognisable - baptised male Sikhs generally cover their hair with a turban. A new photography exhibition, the Singh Project, by photographers Naroop Singh Jhooti and Amit Amin, examines the image of Sikh men in UK society.
