Beckham: 'Sad that Welbeck is leaving Manchester United'
Former England captain and Manchester United midfielder David Beckham says it is "unfortunate" that Danny Welbeck is leaving Old Trafford for Premier League rivals Arsenal.
"We've (Manchester United) had a great scouting system that Sir Alex Ferguson put in quite a few years ago, where we did create young talent and home-grown talent.
"That's what we've done over the years and seeing Danny leave, he's been there from a very young age.
"His heart was in Manchester. Arsenal have got a very good, young talented international player," added the 39-year-old.
