Innocent brothers freed after serving 30 year prison term
Two half-brothers have been freed from prison after serving 30 years for a rape and murder they did not commit.
A judge ruled that 50-year-old Henry Lee McCollum, who was on death row for three decades, was wrongly imprisoned after new DNA evidence was discovered.
His 46-year-old half brother, Leon Brown, who was serving a life sentence, was also freed.
Mr Brown's lawyer, James Payne, said Leon was "all smiles" and "very thankful" for the judge's decision.
