David Haines had a 'love for life and a concern for others'
Prime Minister David Cameron said the UK will take "whatever steps are necessary" after a video showing the killing of hostage David Haines was issued by Islamic State militants.
David Cameron said the UK would "hunt down" the killers of the aid worker, whom he called a "British hero". He said the "menace" of IS had to be destroyed in a "calm, deliberate" way.
Stephen Nolan spoke to Reverend Gordon Campbell from Perth Congregational Church. Mr Haines was a former member of his congregation and worked with him at the Scout Association. Rev Campbell said he was an "adventurous guy with a sense of fun", and that he would be remembered for his "concern for other people".
