Andy Burnham: Miliband speech speaks to 'everyday' people

Shadow Health Secretary Andy Burnham has praised Ed Miliband's Labour Party Conference speech, claiming it "spoke to people in their everyday lives".

The Labour MP for Leigh said the "fantastic" speech put the NHS "at the heart of the election campaign" in a bid to appeal to ordinary people.

"People will be cynical of people like me and politicians... but we've really thought this through. We've got a proper plan here for the country", he said.
