Missing Bristol teen: 'No proof' of Syria intent
A woman supporting the family of a missing 15-year-old Muslim girl says her family are "distraught" at her disappearance and there is "no proof" she has gone to Syria.
Detectives says there are "indications" the teenager, who travelled from her Bristol home to Istanbul in Turkey, "may have been radicalised".
But family spokesperson Anira Khokhar (pictured, right) said "nothing had been proven" about the reasons for her disappearance.
"What's important is we ensure we protect her... and her life is not in jeopardy out there," she said.
