Do robots need a legal system?
Science fiction writer Isaac Asimov famously proposed three laws to govern robotics more than half a century ago. But robots are with us now, and working ever more independently – so how best to regulate them? Andrea Bertolini is part of the European Union-funded RoboLaw team which has just put forward a set of guidelines.
