Paella, kale and pulled pork: School dinners go posh
Gone are the days of macaroni cheese and cold custard for lunch at school - for some teenagers at least.
A comprehensive in South Manchester has seen a jump in pupils eating school dinners, after hiring two top restaurant chefs to run the kitchen.
Reporter Rowan Bridge visited Loreto High School in Chorlton and spoke to the chefs, including Masterchef: The Professionals finalist Adam Leavy.
5 live Drive also heard from the school's headteacher, Peter Tite, who said that they had not spent more on the food budget despite the increase in quality.
