NGH Secures £250,000 Dementia Diagnosis Payment

Hospitals get dementia diagnosis incentives as well as GPs - NGH secures its £250,000 incentive, but KGH misses out in first quarter of the year.

Northampton General Hospital has hit its dementia diagnosis target for the year and so receives an incentive payment of £250,000. A consultant at NGH has told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Northampton that it is one of only two hospitals in the East Midlands to achieve the target. Kettering General Hospital is currently acheiving its target for the current quarter of the year, but missed out earlier.
