Mendy: Froch is 'running scared' of DeGale
James DeGales' advisor, Ambrose Mendy has said that Carl Froch has “had his day” and is “out of the picture”.
Mendy told the ѿý's boxing commentator Mike Costello that everybody knows that DeGale would beat Froch now and so the fight won’t happen.
If Froch gives up his IBF super-middleweight crown, DeGale expects to fight Mexico's Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez for the vacant title on 31 January 2015.
“The guy [Froch] is a legend...it’s probably his time to walk away with his legacy intact,” added Mendy.
