Top Labour donor: Miliband should push for EU immigration cuts
Labour’s biggest individual donor has said a curb on EU immigration numbers should be on Ed Miliband’s list of demands for reforming Britain’s relationship with Europe.
Responding to a question from 5 live's chief political correspondent John Pienaar John Mills said: “Yes I think it should be on there. Whether it's going to be successfully achieved I think is another matter”.
“I think on the whole that the scale of immigration that we have got coming in from Europe is high in relation to what this country can reasonably expect to accommodate,” Mr Mills added.
