Demolition starts at Worthy Down
Work has started to demolish redundant buildings at Worthy Down in Hampshire to make way for a brand new state of the art college.
The £250 million development will provide a training centre for all three armed forces. When the Defence College of Logistics Policing and Administration opens in 4 years, it will consolidate the Ministry of Defence's training centres into one site
Simon Gadd, Head of projects for the Defence infrastructure organisation told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Neil Sackley what the site is used for and why the old buildings are coming down.
