Using spin to curl a free-kick is a fine art, which can be explained by maths – Kevin Sheedy’s favourite subject at school. Sheedy named his autobiography So Good I Did it Twice. We caught up with the Everton legend, now a coach at the club, to find out the thinking behind his most famous footballing moment. He also explains how a knowledge of maths is more important than ever in the modern game.
