Restored war memorial in Leire (PART 2)
A war memorial has been recently restored in the church yard at St Peters. It was brought back to its former glory after villagers raised funds of over 拢1,600 which actually left them with a bit extra leaving them enough to create a dedicated book of remembrance. Chris Hirst organised the fund raising to help restore the war memorial and to create the new book. Jim went to meet him.
