US film director John Waters tries out hitch-hiking
The American film director John Waters has been hitch-hiking to gain experience for his new book. Sometimes he had to keep his thumb stuck out for ten hours. So why did he do it? "I needed street cred, I needed an experience - the worst thing you can do as you get older is to stay indoors", he told Dan Damon of World Update.
