Vivienne Westwood: People could 'eat less' to afford organic food
Fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood and Labour MP Michael Meacher have joined 57 million campaigners to hand Downing Street a letter outlining concerns about GM crops.
Mr Meacher said the "vast majority" of people wanted organic food "free of any chemicals".
When challenged over whether most people can afford organic food, Dame Vivienne said people could "eat less" to be able to afford it.
