The Orchestre Symphonique Kimbanguiste: Nkolo na biso Yesu & Mvuluzi wuzuli
Our Lord Jesus & The Saviour is born | The OSK Chorus conducted by Omer Diampanga, and featuring soprano Bibiche Ntemo.
The Chorus and Orchestre Symphonique Kimbanguiste were founded 20 years ago in Democratic Republic of Congo’s capital, Kinshasa, by Armand Diangienda. His grandfather was Simon Kimbangu, whose teachings form the basis of Kimbanguism, the Democratic Republic of Congo’s third largest Christian religion. Simon Kimbangu also had a great love of music and said that “to sing is to pray twice”.
