Jenas says Wigan situation is ‘more then disappointing’ for players
Jermaine Jenas says Wigan Captain Emmerson Boyce has been put in a “difficult position” by his club in regards to recent controversies involving the appointment of Malkay Mackay as manager at Wigan Athletic.
Boyce has spoken on Malky Mackay’s arrival in a local newspaper saying “I think he’s the right man for the job and his arrival has lifted the mood which is so important when you’re in the position we are in the table.”
But former Spurs midfielder and England international Jermaine Jenas says the recent situation at Wigan is “disappointing to say the least”, adding the team "don’t have a choice” but to play.
