Lewis Hamilton wins 2014 F1 world title
Lewis Hamilton stormed to victory in the desert to claim the F1 title and joins an elite group of drivers as a double world champion.
Hamilton got the perfect start overtaking his arch rival Nico Rosberg before turn one and never looked back. The German had his hopes of a maiden world title crushed when he suffered a loss of power half way through the race and could only nurse his Mercedes to a 13th place finish.
There were no such problems for Hamilton's silver arrow though. After the race, Caroline spoke to former F1 driver Sir Stirling Moss, who was full of praise for the Mercedes driver.
