Eating cats and dogs
Campaigners in Switzerland want more to be done to stop people eating cat and dog meat. They say hundreds of thousands of Swiss people eat the meat in secret, and it often appears on traditional Christmas menus. Tomi Tomek is the co-founder and president of the animal protection group SOS Chats Noiraigue.
Tomi said: "I think it started in the second war, people were very poor in Switzerland" and "they found that cat meat is very good and they liked it more than rabbit and they used dog meat to make sausages".
