Secret gambler on 'shame' of lying to family
A gambler who stole £53,000 from his employers to fund his 30-year addiction has been reunited with his family, after spending eight months in prison for fraud.
David Bradford (pictured), a father-of-three from Sheffield, kept his estimated £250,000 debt secret and now fears he will lose the family home.
The former accountant said he felt "shame" and "deceit" knowing he had lied to his wife of 35-years.
Wife Denise said: "I can't forgive at the moment still but I was just glad he was home."
