Victoria's Secret: 'It's soft porn'
The American lingerie chain Victoria's Secret came to London for the first time this week.
Daily Mail columnist Sarah Vine told Today's James Naughtie: "It's 47 of the world's tallest, thinest ..women jiggling themselves around in a variety of spangly bras."
"40 years ago women were picketing Miss World, which by comparison looks so sweet and tame ...it's soft porn basically."
However, freelance fashion journalist Harriet Reuter Hapgood said: "It is silly, it is ridiculous. I don't think it's sexual at all, I don't think it's pornography at all."
"It's just a giant advert."
First broadcast Today programme 6 December 2014.
