The lady who did random acts of kindness for a year
Bernadette Russell did kind things for strangers every day for a year, including sending cards through the post to people feeling lonely, as recommended by people on Twitter.
DJ Stewart Who? was one of those nominated to Bernadette by friends. He said he was feeling lonely and depressed following a hip operation, but was boosted when he recieved the card.
“I couldn’t compute this lovely message” said Stewart, who then went to meet Bernadette to thank her.
