Forced Marriage: Other countries seek advice from UK
We may think we have a long way to go when it comes to tackling forced marriage but it seems we are ahead of the curve in comparison with other countries. It is a big problem here among South Asian communities and we have found ways of dealing with it. Earlier this year new laws were introduced in England and Wales making forced marriage a crime. Now our expertise is being sought in countries like Canada. Poonam Taneja reports.
