Author, Matt Eastley who has written books on the unique appeal of the FA Cup and the "magic" the competition could once be relied upon to provide tells us why it's lost it's magic.

Matt told Ed Harry the "FA Cup final was the biggest day of a fans' life" putting it alongside " their weddings or the birth of child" calling it "a competition which transcended football."

The author believes the "magic" is reduced because "Premier League side's don't afford it the importance they once did."
