Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard: Charlie Hebdo attack will lead to self-censorship
Controversial Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, who who is under police protection after creating a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad, has spoken out following the Charlie Hebdo attack.
He told Today's James Naughtie: "I'm afraid but one feeling which has helped me very much is anger."
"I was threatened on my life and my house was attacked. But I had only done my job."
Asked whether the Charlie Hebdo attack would lead to censorship he said: "The fear from yesterday will not disappear. There will be some kind of self-censorship and that is the worst kind of censorship."
