Paris gunman was 'very calm' on phone
The journalist on the end of that phone call was Igor Sahiri from BFM TV. He wanted to speak to the manager, but it was one of the gunmen, Cherif Kouachi, who answered the phone.
Igor Sahiri said to Today's James Naughtie that he 'wanted to locate the place' where the hostages were being held.
Speaking about the call he said that Cherif Kouachi was 'very serence, very calm' and that it felt 'just like a normal discussion'.
First broadcast on the Today Programme, Saturday 10 January.
