Trott: 'I'm a better person' after break from cricket
England cricketer Jonathan Trott says he feels like a "better person" today after leaving the 2013 Ashes tour because of a stress-related condition.
The 33-year-old said he "lost perspective" which "increased the pressure and anxiety" at the time, but he had since become "more understanding with regards to everyday life".
"It's just a game of cricket in the end. It's not really life and death - as I perceived it to be a year ago," he said.
Trott turned out for the England Lions in a two-match series against South Africa, and has been tipped by Michael Vaughan to make a full international return against the West Indies in April.
