Jean Vanier
The Canadian philosopher Jean Vanier is probably best known for starting L'Arche the international federation of communities for people with developmental disabilities. He spoke to the programme about the importance of dialogue and understanding in overcoming our differences in society and and his belief that the strong need the weak.
"To see in people their beauty we have to work at ourselves.....we all want to go up the ladder but to discover our world maybe means something else."
