Woman who does not smile: 'I have fewer laughter lines’
A 50-year-old woman, who says she does not smile, says her friends look noticeably older than her.
Tess Christian claims she stopped smiling in school and carried the practice on in later life to avoid, in her words, looking “hideous” in photographs.
But as she grew older, she noticed that she had “fewer laughter lines” than other people her age.
Rather than “act out the emotion" of being happy, Ms Christian says she just states her feelings.
