One of baseball's most famous players took the unusual step on Tuesday of sitting down and writing a letter of apology to the fans of his team.

Alex Rodriguez who hasn't played since September 2013, will begin spring training with the New York Yankees later this week, that's after serving the longest ban in the sport's history for using performance enhancing drugs.
