DJ Edu - from tape seller to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ DJ
It's what many teenagers have been doing for years....compiling their own tapes of their favourite music. But for some it becomes more than a hobby, shared at best with a few friends. For DJ Edu for example making his own mixtapes was the start of a successful career. He started selling the tapes in his home city of Nairobi in Kenya - now he is working on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s music station 1xtra and has gone back to his old neighbourhood of Buru Buru in the Kenyan capital, to meet the new generation of aspiring young DJs.
